India's first indigenous server is launched by MoS IT. Rudra\SIT The first indian server, Rudra, designed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, was inaugurated by Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Friday (C-DAC).
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, unveiled Rudra, the first indigenous server constructed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) as part of the National Supercomputing Mission on Friday (NSM).
The server can be used in a variety of industries, including high-performance computing (HPC) systems, hyperscale data centres, edge computing, finance and ecommerce, production, the petroleum market, and medical.
According to the Ministry of Statistics, India got the most FDI, has a 10% growth rate, and has successfully recovered from the pandemic.
Manish Tiwari, in reaction, questioned the move in light of recent price increases on vital commodities while corporate tax rates have been significantly reduced. 'Why were the capitalists who had no impact on the pandemic shielded, but the common guy had to face the consequences?' Tiwari wondered.
The minister said that the Modi administration remains committed to boosting entrepreneurship, job creation through enterprises, and corporate backing, all of which will improve investment opportunities.
